A SAVVY BUYER WITH A VISION
They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Bronwyn Pirrie of Renovating Moms – Cape Town, set her eyes on heritage home which had been on the market for some months – “There were a number of reasons to why we know it wasn’t selling, but a crucial point that it was a 3 bedroom, 2 reception home (in prime school catchment area), but only had 1 family bathroom and what I called the ‘airplane loo’ – it really was that small.
Brownyn and her husband managed to see past this hurdle and with some clever ingenuity added the perfect indoor/outdoor shower experience!
Things WE love:
A re-used teak sash that was removed from elsewhere in the house
The use of natural light by creating an indoor/outdoor shower
Clever and inspiring use of a small space – Bathroom Size (1.5m deep by 4m long)
Bronwyn’s TOP TIPS :
💡 Opt for double basins – “ My husband and I never use this bathroom at the same time, but his goodies are above his basin, and mine above mine, and that’s so nice.”
💡 Consider adding a shaving cabinet when space is limited – “It was only built to house the depth of a loo roll, but it is high and wide. We have all the space we need and it keeps the floor clear, which maximizes the feel of the space.
💡 Bronwyn’s use of a wardrobe to create an element of privacy in their bedroom
💡 Small spaces – stick to one seamless floor finish

Together with almost everything which appears to be building within this specific subject matter, all your opinions are generally somewhat stimulating. However, I am sorry, because I can not give credence to your entire plan, all be it exciting none the less. It appears to us that your remarks are generally not entirely justified and in actuality you are your self not even completely certain of your argument. In any case I did enjoy reading it.
