Yes! As a member of the Renovating Moms community, you are able to find and review pros in your area.

Creating a profile on Renovating Moms adds you as a member of the RM community groups and discussions on our website. You can connect with other RMs, partake in group discussions, create photo albums to save your ideas and direct message other members and Pros from within the community. As a member, you are also able to review Pros.

RM Reviews is a review site, where Pros are reviewed by the RM community. The RM platform does not take businesses through any other formal vetting process. Premium Pros (coming soon!) are vetted by the Renovating Moms business.

Pros are professionals who are vetted by the community. Premium Pros are professionals who have a relationship with RM and who we will give our RM badge of trust to. They are our go to people for advice and content from Renovating Moms. We only have a limited number of Premium Pros.

Reviews must be based upon your first-hand experience as a client with the products, or business or individual whose services are the subject of the Review. Pros may not review themselves and you may not review the businesses of your family and friends. Please see our full Review Policy for the full list of rules.

Yes, you will need to be logged in as a member, and you can add a listing and review a Pro. These ‘unclaimed’ listings can then be claimed by Pros and switched into a paid listing.

No. Once a review has been published on RM Reviews, we’re not involved in facilitating communication or complaints resolutions between the reviewer, and the contractor.

Businesses who have claimed their listing on RM Reviews get a notification when a new review about them has been written.

Unfortunately, we can’t offer advice on how to handle a dispute with a business, but we do suggest the following:

• Write a review about your experience so the business, and other customers can be made aware
• Read what others have said, as they may have had the same issue and this could help you resolve yours
• Follow up – update your review to let others know if and when your issue was resolved

No, Renovating Moms doesn’t recommend, or suggest, which professional you should choose. You can read reviews about the professional / business you’re looking at, and let other RMs’ experiences help you decide which business to go with.

No. Renovating Moms isn’t able to offer any advice, legal or otherwise.

Renovating Moms provides a channel for customers and contractors / businesses to directly engage with one another. This means Renovating Moms doesn’t engage in, or facilitate, dispute resolution.

Reviews on Renovating Moms facebook groups have helped thousands of RMs make better choices. Moving this onto RM Reviews, improves the experience of reviewing and finding contractors to work with.

Yes, You are able to edit your review after it has been published.

No, businesses aren’t able to delete reviews. The only way for a review to be removed from RM Reviews is if it’s reported and found to be in violation of our Review Policy

We understand it’s frustrating when your review doesn’t receive a response, but that doesn’t mean it’ll never happen. Many RMs publish reviews that are responded to. 

Some companies don’t respond because:

• They aren’t active on our Platform (especially for unclaimed listings)
• The incorrect contact details are used 

Our goal is to keep RMs informed, give recognition to businesses offering great service, and hold them accountable when their service has been poor.

While we can’t guarantee the business will respond to your review, writing one increases the visibility of your problem and may prevent other consumers from going through this same experience.

We currently don’t have an RM App. That said, we suggest that you create a shortcut to RM on your homescreen, this pretty much functions as an app with a direct route into our RM treasure trove! Don’t know how? Use this short video to guide you.

Our Facebook communities are where we started as Renovating Moms, they are a hive of inspiration and support. They are however limited in how we can use them. Our online community is our future. Engage here on more specific topics in our subgroups and keep everything in one place as you find your professionals, read their reviews, see who reviewed them, manage your profile, connect with other RMs, create photo books of your projects, and more!
