VIVA MAGENTA – Pantone 2023

This exuberant colour exploded onto the scene as Pantone’s color of the year for 2023. While we have been seeing various shades of pink making appearances in interior design over the past few years, Viva Magenta is by far the most striking and bold shade making its way into our homes.

Magenta is referred to as the colour of ‘universal harmony and emotional balance’. It’s said to evoke emotional harmony, spiritual development, encourages common sense, and strengthens intuition – we could all do with a bit of this!

For many the thought alone of painting an entire house PINK! would create a spousal uproar with the best of couple; granted it’s likely not everyone’s cup of tea.  Viva Magenta will no doubt date at some point, and pose to be a ‘pain in the *ss’ to paint over with any lighter shade paint, BUT it is an undeniably gorgeous colour that you no doubt would be missing out in not bringing it somewhere into your home.
