Thought I would share our transformation story that may help those who also have old homes that want to save by upcycling their existing door and window hardware that has had years of abuse. We landed up using BG Premier Coaters based in Epping.

This year we really wanted to modernise our home and change our fittings to Matt black – after seeing the cost of purchasing new hardware, we nearly gave up. We then met BG premier Coaters and worked with Simone who was super helpful in helping us choose from a wide range of coatings, textures, rust preventatives treatments etc. The hardest part was choosing the final finish we wanted – we were surprised by how many options there were of each colour and finish. They did everything else including sand blasting to clean the caked on paint, grime and dirt, treated it, applied the final coating and voila: Magic!

Wish we did this sooner and would highly suggest upcycling your existing items instead of buying new ones.

After dealing with a number of contractors since we purchased our new home, really want to share those that overdeliver and have made such a difference to transforming our home.
